What can we learn from thinking of the future as an object?
In April 2020 I was poised to give a talk at TEDxASU … then coronavirus hit!
The talk was inspired by the origins of my book Future Rising, and explored how thinking about the future provides unique insights into our relationship with the future and our responsibility to it.
TEDxASU 2021 was sadly cancelled at the last miniute, and so I never hit the stage with my vision of the future as an object. But one of the upsides of the pandemic was that I did have more time than expected in front of my computer and a decent microphone (which is another story).
And so, having nothing better to do, I reworked the TEDxASU talk into the audio version below.
Hope you enjoy it!
