# Analyses

The six analyses, in reading order. Each is long; each opens with a summary ("In brief") and a contents list, and each is available as [Markdown](../llms-full.txt) for AI systems. Where the analyses and the supporting working files differ, the analyses take precedence.

1. [**Late lessons from early warnings: an analysis of the two EEA reports**](01-late-lessons-analysis.md) — every substantive page of both reports read, independently audited and hindsight-checked against what happened after publication; cross-cutting themes; the reports' limits and critics; and a technology-neutral lens of 72 entries.
2. [**Jensen Huang's view of AI and society**](02-huang-analysis.md) — his September 2026 conversation with Ezra Klein, read turn by turn and through several analytical lenses, with 148 fact-checked claims, his wider record, formation and interests, and the strongest case for his position.
3. [**Late lessons and Jensen Huang**](03-late-lessons-and-huang.md) — twelve dimensions of comparison, each red-teamed from both sides; the 72-entry lens applied to Huang and to his critics; leader profiles; competing explanations of his stance.
4. [**We've been here before**](04-article-we-have-been-here-before.md) — an essay by Claude drawing on 01-03.
5. [**Andrew Maynard on risk, AI and AI risk**](05-maynard-risk-and-ai-map.md) — how Maynard thinks and works, and a map of his thinking from 2005 to 2026.
   - [**Grounded exuberance: how Andrew Maynard thinks and works**](05b-maynard-portrait.md) — his way of thinking and working, from his own perspective; a companion to 05.
6. [**Huang, Late Lessons and the AI moment, read through Maynard's work**](06-huang-and-late-lessons-through-maynard.md) — alignments, divergences, value and alternative approaches.
